Docs / Install PunchOut
~5 minutes end-to-end · Chrome / Edge / Brave · Business Central SaaS
PunchOut has two pieces: a Chrome extension in the buyer's browser, and a small Business Central extension (a .app) on your BC tenant. They talk through your Microsoft account. Both install in one click, no manual upload, no unpacked extension.
Go to app.zentriqsoftware.com and click Continue with Microsoft (same account as BC). The first time, create your organization, billing and credits are scoped to the org, not to you. No password, no waitlist.
First person from your company? If your IT locks down third-party apps, Microsoft may show a “Needs admin approval” screen, your admin approves Zentriq once for everyone (30 seconds).
Open the Zentriq PunchOut listing on the Chrome Web Store and click Add to Chrome (Add / Get on Brave / Edge, same button). The Z icon appears in your toolbar. That's the piece that watches supplier cart pages and triggers the capture.
Open the Installations page on your dashboard, pick your BC environment (start with a Sandbox), and click Install Zentriq PunchOut. We deploy the signed .app straight into your tenant via the BC admin API, no download, no upload, in 1–3 minutes with live progress. The install is per environment, so run it on each one you need.
Two quick one-time things:
When the popup's status row shows BC extension: ✅ Installed, the two sides are connected. (Make sure the popup's Environment matches the one you installed the .app on.)
Every new organization starts with 8 free captures, enough to run real carts end-to-end before paying, no card required. After that, captures run on your monthly allowance: subscribe on the pricing page (from CHF 12/mo for 50 captures; the allowance refills every billing period, switch or cancel anytime).
Then open a supported cart, galaxus.ch, brack.ch, microspot.ch, add a few products, open the Zentriq popup, and click 🛒 Capture this cart:
PunchOut uses AI to read any cart page, so most major e-commerce sites work out of the box. Validated for Swiss B2B procurement:
On other sites, give it a try, if the cart is a normal HTML cart, the extraction usually works. If not, send a sample cart URL to support@zentriqsoftware.com and we'll tune the parser.
The dashboard install needs the Global Admin or Dynamics 365 Business Central Administrator role. If you don't have it, invite your IT lead under Organization and have them run the install.
Open BC → Extension Installation Status (usually a transient issue on Microsoft's side). Click Try again on the dashboard once it clears, or email support@zentriqsoftware.com with the env name and timestamp.
.app, fix it in the popup Settings. The .app is on the right environment but your user can't reach its endpoints. Assign the Zentriq PunchOut permission set and click ⟳ Refresh.
You don't have a vendor card in BC whose name contains “galaxus”. Create one (the popup links you straight there), then refresh.
You haven't finished the BC config in the popup. Open Settings, pick Environment + Company, and Save.
The cart is in CHF but your vendor in BC is set to EUR (or vice-versa). Fix the vendor's currency in BC, or buy from the currency-matched store. No credit is consumed when the mismatch is caught pre-capture.
PunchOut and the Zentriq Agent are two separate products, PunchOut runs on a monthly subscription, the Agent is a per-seat subscription for in-BC AI chat. Each has its own .app and permissions; run one, the other, or both. Ready to add the Agent? See Install Agent.
